A coming of age story about an american girl named Elizabeth living with her father and icelandic (blonde) mother in Cairo, Egypt. Her mother likes the attention she gets and so leaves them to live in hotels and have multiple lovers instead . ... I was not a fan of this book. Well, more of the story in general. They introduce a pretty awesome if kinda evil main character that I liked and then start introducing all these other characters from a series I hadn't read. ...
